What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a method of full face hair removal (peach fuzz) and deep cleansing & exfoliation. It is a non-invasive treatment that leaves the skin bright and smooth.

It helps to heal acne, pitted skin, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and other imperfections. By sloughing off the top epidermal layer, a new fresh skin texture is achieved. Bringing comodones clearly to the surface, they are easily extracted.

Using a specific blade at a 45 degree angle, this treatment carries very little downtime, but aftercare should be given to achieve the best results.

The treatment is performed mostly on the face but can be given on other parts of the body.

Contra-indications:

Pre-existing skin disorders, active skin infections, acne, cold sores and any other issue that may cause a contra-action or will cross-infect.

Half Day Course 10am-2pm

Pre-requisite is: NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy
